Carlos Latorre (born 1985) is an Ecuadorian-Italian painter trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. He lives and works in Maryland, USA, where he explores the intersection of classical technique and contemporary expression—most recently through fruit sculptures that investigate the ontological foundations of applied art.

Latorre guitars aren’t just made to be played—they’re made to be passed down. Each piece is built with materials that have stood the test of time, ensuring their history, sound, and beauty last for generations.
BeeSoul is the first guitar model created by Latorre. The name comes from two key elements: the body shape—based on the classic Telecaster—has a curvy, bold silhouette that resembles a bee, while “soul” refers both to the spirit behind the instrument and the truss rod, the inner metal piece that runs through the neck of the guitar.
When gold leaf is applied to the frets, it creates a visual effect that echoes the golden rings often seen on bees, giving the instrument a unique symbolic identity.
BeeSoul combines these elements with handcrafted artistry to create a guitar that’s not just made to be played, but to be contemplated.
It’s not a mass-produced model—it’s a guitar with soul.
Not all of them. Some start with carefully selected parts that are then fully reworked, while others are built entirely from scratch. In both cases, every guitar is one of a kind—handcrafted with time, intention, and detail.
It depends on the complexity of the order. A guitar can take anywhere from 2–3 weeks up to 2 months. The process includes time for rest, drying, applying gold leaf, working with resins, sanding, polishing, and finishing—no shortcuts taken.
